Oregon Coast Hikes and RV Camping Yachats | Newport | Florence

We spend the week of July 4th traveling with our Lance travel trailer to the Oregon coast. We spend nights in Boardman Oregon and Sisters staying at the Bend Sisters Garden RV Resort, with an evening in Bend. We spend 5 days in a ocean-front site at the Sea Perch RV campground just south of Yachats with hiking excursions and visits the nearby lighthouses Yaquina and Heceta Head. A few of our favorite hike were the Hobbit trail, Washburn State Park and the coastline around Yachats as well as Ona Beach hike to Seal Rock. It was fun to check out the sand dunes in Florence and hike to the top of one of them. We find plenty of time for kite-flying, campfires and exploring the beach, and sampling the food in local restaurants. Traveling back to Spokane we spend a night at Cascade Locks in the Columbia River George near the Bridge of the Gods, and enjoy a great dinner at Thunder Island Brewing Company.
