Paul Beleno "Bong" Alvarez, born on June 15, 1968, in Manila, Philippines, is a retired professional basketball player renowned for his dynamic playing style in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Nicknamed "Mr. Excitement" for his high-flying, slam-dunking prowess, Alvarez's career spanned multiple teams, including the Alaska Milkmen, Sta. Lucia Realtors, Formula Shell, San Miguel Beermen, Ginebra San Miguel, and others. He was instrumental in leading San Sebastian College to NCAA championships during his collegiate years. Beyond basketball, Alvarez ventured into acting, appearing in films such as "Last Two Minutes" (1989), "Darna!
