While the location is ideal, being right by the beach and easily accessible, the food was unfortunately below average. The only dish truly worth mentioning was the Hot Butter Cuttlefish. On the bright side, the prices were very reasonable—especially cheap for seafood, considering the ongoing economic crisis in Sri Lanka. We also visited The Station, another seafood restaurant near the beach in Colombo. They are well-known for their crabs, langoustines, calamari (squid), and spiny lobsters. However, it’s important to note that the restaurant is just 2 feet away from busy train tracks, and you must cross them to reach the restaurant. These tracks have a history of accidents, as the electric trains are often very quiet and can be dangerous if not cautious.
