A political protest was held at Slathia Chowk in Udhampur where the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) staged a demonstration against the Congress party. Protesters burned an effigy of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and raised slogans over the recent AI Summit controversy. BJYM District President Vishal Singh Thakur stated that the actions of Congress workers at the AI Summit were condemnable and alleged that such activities could harm the country’s image.
