The Hot Head Damsel A very simple, easy to tie fly that requires minimal materials. One for fishing round the margins or if your on a new venue its a great all rounder especially paired up with the likes of a snake fly or cats whisker. With this fly it can really pay off to play about with retrives, I like to start off with a slow figure 8 trying to work the margins or depths but have also done quite well with a random type retrive, it seems to induce takes and the hot orage head is a great target point for the fish.
