How to cook the best beef for rice an easy and scrumptious recipe for the family, a quick dinner idea. I was craving rice with beef the past few weeks and that's how this beef recipe / beef stew recipe came about. BEEF RECIPE 450g beef chuck or stew meat 1 tsp coriander seeds powder 3/4 tsp ginger powder 1 tsp sweet paprika 1 tsp thyme 3/4 tsp chives 1/2 tsp sugar 1/4 tsp chili flakes 2 tbsp cooking oil 1/2 of yellow medium pepper 1 big clove of garlic minced 1/3 of a big onion 1 1/2 salt (adjust to your taste) 4 1/2 cups hot water 1 tsp flour or thickener 1 1/2 tbsp butter 2 medium skinless tomatoes (chopped) 1 medium potato -Cut 450g of beef chuck or stew meat into bite size pieces, dice 1/3 of an onion, cut 1 medium potato into bite size cubes, 1/2 of a medium orange pepper get rid of the seeds and white part of the pepper and then cut into cubes, and then crush 1 big clove of garlic, set everything aside and put the potatoes in cold water so that they don’t change color -In a big pot heat the 1 1/2 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp cooking oil on medium heat, add the meat cover and let it cook for 7 minutes in its juice stir every now and then, once the juice has dried up add salt and 3 1/2 cups of hot water and then cook for 30 minutes, once the water has dried up fry the meat for 4 minutes, add the onion fry for 3 minutes and then add the minced garlic fry for 20 seconds, add 2 skinless chopped tomatoes, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp chili flakes, 1 tsp thyme, 3/4 tsp chives, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 1 tsp sweet paprika, 3/4 tsp ginger powder. Mix well cook for 1 minute, add the potatoes mix well, cover and cook for 7 minutes stir every now and then, add 1 tsp of thickener I used my homemade one but plain flour is ok, add 1 cup of water cover and cook for 15 minutes, add the peppers mix well and cook for 6 minutes -It’s ready serve with rice and a salad or any side dish of your choice. #BEEFRECIPE#STEW#BEEFFORRICE
