This video presents the critical ATC communications during a serious runway incursion incident at Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW/KMDW) on February 25, 2025. FlexJet 560 crossed an active runway without clearance, forcing Southwest Flight 2504 to execute an immediate go-around manoeuvre. The incident began when FlexJet 560 was instructed to "cross Runway 31L, hold short of Runway 31 Center." Despite reading back these instructions, the aircraft proceeded to cross Runway 31C while Southwest 2504 was on final approach. Thanks to the controller's vigilance and the quick response from the Southwest flight crew, a potential collision was avoided. Following the incident, the FlexJet crew was issued possible pilot deviation paperwork and instructed to contact Midway Tower.
