Lofoten, Tent Camping & Backpacking the Arctic North. The most beautiful hike in the world some people call this, it is at least one of most unique views in the World, on top of the highest peak on the southern islands of Lofoten, looking out over the peninsula and mainland Norway. I arrived via Hurtigruten in Svolvær, Lofoten a couple of days before my trip. The goal of my 3 day backpacking trip was to climb Hermannsdalstinden Pinnacle, the highest mountain in the southern part of Lofoten, in good weather so could can see the views. The night of the start it was rainy and foggy, but as the summit day arrives the weather was amazing! This is absolutely the best views I have ever experienced. I was very happy to spend time with Frauki   / frauki   and Hannes Becker   / hannes_becker   and have their company on the return journey, where we took the boat back to Reine. Quite a spectacular trip, and I am so happy I found a good weather break to revisit Hermannsdalstinden. I climbed it last summer, but in clouds, so I didnt see any views last year.
