In that video I show how to install 17mm Wheel Hub on a 1/10 car using wheel adapters from a company called Pro-DMT. At the time I recorded that video I found the adapters on ebay for a little cheaper than on their website but it looks like it is the other way around now. I bought 8 of those. 4 of them went on my Redcat Blackout XBE which I run on 3S with a slightly smaller pinion. The other four went to an older RC car a 1/10 beetle with tons of customizations including a very powerful 3000 Watts brush-less motor. On that second car the axle thread is the same size as the Axle itself and the parts have a little internal flange on the end (good for most 1/10 RC car as it helps alignment with the smaller diameter of the threaded part of the Axle) so I had to drill the internal flange to make it fit, but that was very easy because the axle hole in the part served as a guide for the drill bit, it took about a minute to complete all 4. Anyway that 17mm wheel adapter is awesome, the 1/10 wheels have always been a pain and a limitation with brush-less power, but with the adapters and the 1/8 wheels, now I can almost pass all of the 3000 Watts of brush-less power to the ground.
