In this video, we move beyond the keypad to set up a basic hardwired control circuit for the Siemens G120C drive. This is an essential skill for field applications where a PLC might not be present. We walk through the physical wiring for start/stop control using a switch, a reversing circuit, and a speed potentiometer for analog input. We also demonstrate how to wire an analog meter to display the actual motor speed. We utilize the Siemens Default Setting 12 (Standard IO with analog setpoint) to map our physical terminals.
