Tropical Surf, Sumbawa | Real Conditions

I was filming a tropical surf spot. My neck was blocked, so I couldn't go into the water. The footage is about 40 minutes long, taken around mid-tide. But the spot works at all tides, except at high tide when it gets a bit thick and the current starts to kick in. Paddling out is really easy, and overall, even though I surfed the waves in overhead conditions later on, it was safe. However, a Portuguese guy died there last year. He went in alone when it was ridiculously big. Thanks to the high hill, the spot is well sheltered from the west wind, and the waves are very consistent. Filmed with a DJI mini 4 pro drone.
