On this Women’s Day, Sneha’s story highlights that for many women, a career is the only shield against a life of dependency. While Vivek feels the pressure of being the family's "provider" and strength, Sneha views her exam as her final chance to escape a "full stop" on her identity. At 22, she is treated as a burden to be offloaded through marriage, where failure means losing her voice to the four walls of a kitchen.  The story captures two aspirants from the same village trapped by the weight of expectations. Vivek fears returning home to the disappointment in his parents' eyes, while Sneha fears that going home means never being allowed to leave again. Ultimately, Vivek is fighting to raise the status of his home, while Sneha is fighting just to have a "vajood" (existence) of her own beneath its roof..
