Suryakant Ji Gaikwad (Sangeet Alankar) and her mother Smt. Sangeeta Gaikwad (Sangeet Visharad). Pt. Suryakant Ji Gaikwad is a disciple of Pt. Marutrao Dondekar who was shagird of Ustad Amir Khan Saheb, Ustab Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustab Rajab Ali. Gayatree gave her first public performance at the age of 5 at Alandi, Pune. Her musical aptitude and her sweet voice brought appreciation from the listeners. She regularly performs Khyaal, Ghazal, Dadra, Thumri, and Abhang.
