To see his vision for a more challenging version of FFX as someone who has done so many playthroughs over the years was a wonderful experience. Getting to chat to him, provide my feedback and help him make the mod better than when I started was one of the most fun projects I had ever been a part of on the channel. There were many Mods I could have tried, but as someone who had known about and benefited from pbirdman's excellent work over the years, I just had to give him the nod and help to test his version of the game. 5 years later, another challenge mod has emerged, and this time it has been made by someone I've gotten to know through the Dansg08 community over the years. Karifean is an incredibly knowledgeable player of FFX, having delved deep into the nuts and bolts of the game and followed the speedrunning and modding scene closely over the year, to form his own vision of what a challenge mod might look like. Naturally, I just had to see what he cooked up, with the benefit of already having him as a regular viewer on the channel. So expect the man himself to be appearing in Premieres and the comments section providing his own reaction/feedback/behind the scenes information. Do note however that this mod is already complete, with the Pbirdman mod I was playing an alpha version and helping him test it before it was made public. So I will have far less influence for this one. With so many projects ongoing including an FFX livestream every 2 weeks, I want to pace myself to not burn out or fall behind on all the other work, so this will be a weekly series that we'll work through, with episodes airing most likely every Friday as a Premiere so the community can enjoy it together with Karifean.
