A look at Tri-ang Railways R.159 Double Ended Diesel (c1958-77?) with R.250 Dummy Unit (c1958-62?) and 2nd Series Blue and Yellow Transcontinental Coaches R.444 Coach, R.445 Observation Car, R.446 Baggage/Kitchen Car and R.447 Dinner (c1962-72) This group of models makes up a great looking train standing at the station with the R.257 Double Ended Electric in Two Tone Green and the R.55 Single Ended Diesel in Red and silver all with there respective Coaches. The R.159 Double Ended Diesel leaves the station with the Blue and Yellow Coaches and makes its way around the layout and makes use of much of the pointwork available as it moves between the inside and outside lines and finally leaves the coaches at the station to collect the R.250 Dummy unit before collecting the coaches for another express run around the layout.
