December 25, 2016 marks the historic, auspicious occasion when the illustrious Panglung lineage of oracles was enthroned into their new home. For centuries, this incredible lineage of oracles made Panglung Ritroe (hermitage) their permanent home in Tibet. The political events of 1959 however, forced the 6th Panglung Kuten to flee his home and Tibet. He continued to take trance in exile in India, providing invaluable advice for tens of thousands of Buddhists. Today, his son the 7th Panglung Kuten continues his precious work, tirelessly taking trance of the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden to bless, heal and guide practitioners. Kechara had the great honour and merits to offer an abode to the 7th Panglung Kuten, as a symbol of the revival of the Panglung oracular lineage and the practice of Dorje Shugden. The current residence of the Panglung lineage of oracles is now based in Kechara Forest Retreat (Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia). The holy site that played host to many of their virtuous works was Panglung Ritroe in Lhasa, Tibet, where various protectors such as Dorje Shugden and Kache Marpo took trance. Though the original Panglung Ritroe in Tibet no longer exists, the Panglung Oracle lineage continues to benefit sentient beings all over the world. Therefore, with the permission of the holy Protector Dorje Shugden and the blessings of His Eminence the 7th Panglung Oracle Thubten Phelgye Jigme Namgyal, Kechara House has the great honour, merits and privilege to offer this new Panglung Ritroe to the current oracle to commemorate his tremendous service. The creation of this new abode not only symbolises the resurgence of the Panglung Oracles but also their indomitable wish to serve all sentient beings.
