Scotland's West Coast Part 4 - Isle of Skye | Ep. 192

We continue our three-week exploration of Scotland’s West Coast cruising grounds with three more stops on the Isle of Skye and one to the remote and stunning island of Rona! Portree is our first stop and it is a beautiful harbor and town on the Isle of Skye’s east coast. We then hop to the northeast and anchor off of the island of Rona – just east of Skye and north of Raasay. We hike to the top of the tall hill and gain views across to Scotland’s mainland and back over to the Isle of Skye. We then round the Isle of Skye’s northern tip and anchor in the large but secluded Duntulm Bay. Here we fly our drone around the striking ruins of Duntulm Castle and pinch ourselves that we are all alone in this incredible bay off of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. We finish our circumnavigation of the Isle of Skye with a visit to the town of Dunvegan and a walk and tour of Dunvegan Castle. Join us next time as we visit two of the Small Isles – Rùm and Canna.
