Part 1/2 of Operation: Polar Storm in my C&C Red Alert 2 Hard - Soviet walkthrough. Much easier than the last level from a defensive view point, but from an attacking one is slightly harder, due to the fact you're playing against the Allies. If you want to complete this level and the last one by destroying everything though, this would probably take longer. Start by queuing up 6-10 Tesla Troopers whilst getting a Refinery out. They first Chronoshift 6 IFVs on the hilly terrain in your base. They also attack early with Rocketeers from the west, so Flak Troopers/Cannons/Tracks are a good idea. Next up are 6 Grizzly Tanks in the middle of your base, a few Tesla Troopers would make short work of these. SEALs are next on the agenda, being dropped off on the south west corner of the Island, 2 Sentry Guns will shred these. Shortly after this they Chronoshift an Aircraft Carrier to the north side of the island, and quickly 6 Grizzlies in the south. Make sure you have adequate air defences to deal with the Carrier (for now) as well as Tesla Troopers / Rhinos for the Grizzlies. Once you have a Battle Lab start queuing up abotu 10 Kirovs, as well as building a Naval force consisting of about 8-10 Subs, 3-5 Sea Scorpions and a couple of Dreadnoughts. Use these to destroy the Naval facility by the Allies base, and bombard the coast if you feel like it.
