Make room for some spiritual food, with this rebroadcast from the Sunday 8am service. Moving Forward Without Looking Back Reading: Philippians 3:13-14; Luke 9:62 Thought to consider: The Israelites' journey from Egyptian slavery to the Promised Land required leaving behind each trial after God delivered them. They crossed the Red Sea but couldn't camp there. They received manna but had to gather fresh supply daily. God's pattern is clear: receive the deliverance, learn the lesson, and move forward. Yet we often build monuments to our pain, rehearsing our trauma, cataloging our disappointments. Jesus said no one who puts their hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom. Your past—whether glorious or grievous—cannot be your dwelling place. Forgetting what lies behind means refusing to let yesterday's weights determine tomorrow's possibilities. Today, set a new course. Identify one area where you've been looking backward and make a concrete step forward. Embrace your freedom. Your best days aren't behind you—they're ahead, if you'll stop carrying what God already handled and start walking toward what He's prepared.
