Camino Day 3 From Baiona to Vigo This was our longest day so far - almost 27km and took us almost 9 hours. It was mostly a coastal route with steep climbs as we entered Vigo. The city reminded me of San Francisco without the trams - very steep roads. There was even one main road where they wisely installed an escalator in the middle of the road for pedestrians heading uptown. Outside the city, the highlight was probably us passing through a nudist beach. No I didn’t shoot any video - I don’t know how to blur the critical spots and I don’t want to be banned from FB. Again, we had great encounters with people during the walk. One chance encounter with a local lady lead to a prolonged conversation and she gifted all of us Miraculous Medals from Paris.
