Plaza Península is our favorite mall in Tijuana right now. It is very clean and safe and has a lot of options for nice clothing and restaurants.  Plaza Peninsula, also known simply as Península, is a mixed-use complex in Tijuana, Mexico, which opened its doors on September 20, 2022. Located along Vía Rápida Oriente, a major east-west corridor in the Colonia Chapultepec Alamar neighborhood of the La Mesa borough, Península spans a lot area of 6.3 hectares (approximately 680,000 square feet). The complex boasts a gross leasable area of 275,000 square meters (around 2,960,000 square feet), including a shopping center component with 80,000 square meters (860,000 square feet) dedicated to retail, 30% of which is allocated for food and beverage as well as entertainment venues. Anchor tenants at the mall include a Liverpool department store, Suburbia, Cinemex multicinemas, Calimax supermarket, and Family Fitness, among other large stores like Innovasport, Zara, C&A, and H&M. The restaurant zone features a food hall and 4,000 square meters of patio space. Additional elements of the Península complex include a 5-star hotel with approximately 200 rooms, two residential towers offering a total of 255 apartments, a hospital, gym, aquatic center, co-working facilities, and a 10,000-square-meter wellness zone Península aims to be Tijuana's premier destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment, offering a stylish and energetic outdoor ambiance for making memories under the sun of Baja California.
