By Cindy Mulomba Government has commissioned infrastructure projects valued at over 3.4 million Kwacha in Luwingu District, constructed using the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The projects include the Don Bosco Ablution Block, the Chikoti Ablution Block and Staff House costing over 1 million kwacha. Other projects are the Lupili Market Ablution Block built at 368,000 kwacha, and the Kamumango Market Ablution Block constructed at a cost of 765,000 kwacha. Additionally, five staff houses have been built at Saili Primary School at a cost of over 660,000 kwacha. Local Government and Rural Development Minister Gift Sialubalo said the projects are aimed at improving sanitation and education standards in the district. He explained that the facilities will enhance hygiene in markets and schools, improve teachers’ working conditions, and reduce preventable diseases in the community. Lubansenshi Member of Parliament Taulo Chewe thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for increasing the CDF allocation, noting that the enhanced fund has brought meaningful development to Luwingu District, with communities now witnessing improved infrastructure in education and sanitation. #CDFProjects #LuwinguDevelopment #EducationAndSanitation #ZambiaProgress #CommunityEmpowerment
