(Holy crap this is 4 minutes long) Sorry about not uploading yesterday, stuff had to be done. Anyways we move onto the Labyrinth of Mirage Islands 2nd act, but using the theme from act 3? In this remake of an OST I'm creating I go through each song and figure out if the act 2 or the act 3 fits better, for Lost Labyrinth, this is the 1st one that I used act 3's track for as an act 2. The unused act's I use will be repurposed as a competition track or as a character exclusive act. (Like how Superstars has it) Story: Sonic and Tails have reached new area's in the maze and found a minecart system bringing them much faster to their destination. The water is slowly getting more aggressive as the tides begin to rise and the heroes will have to traverse through the aquatic labyrinth. Ultimately at the end a tide pulls them upstream and brings them to a neon city glistering in the night.. About the Song: Used Labyrinth Zone's instruments from Sonic 1 and Hydrocity's saxophone to give it that water level feel and used the PSG channel as a lead due to Sonic 4's version sounding square like. Really liked how this track sounded and was a difficult choice between act 2 or 3 for the remix, but turned out good either way. About the Image: For Act 2's background I used Labyrinths prototype with its pillars, then used Hydrocity Act 2's background for the monument esque structures around the ruin. The minecart is from a Sonic 3 A.I.R. mod that adds Endless Mine as a full on level, the ring stars from being collected are from Chaotix, and the torch is from madK on Spriters Resource.
