The easiest way to reach Bhairav Kunda via Nagarkot adds around 12 km to the journey, but it's totally worth it. The smooth roads and peaceful route make it a far better choice than the rough Dhulikhel-Dolalghat highway. In February, I embarked on an adventurous journey with my brothers, starting from #Imadol. We took the scenic and peaceful route through #Nagarkot, enjoying stunning views and fresh air as we made our way toward #Dolalghat. After stopping for tea in Nagarkot, we intended to have #dalbhat at #Sukute, but my brothers opted to continue without a break. We pressed on to #Barhabise, where we struggled to find a place to eat. As we ventured further, the road turned off-road, and rain began to pour, complicating our search for food. Eventually, we reached #Chaku, where we discovered a restaurant serving delicious dal bhat alongside refreshing #Chinese drinks. Chaku, situated only 10-15 km from the #China border, provided a warm respite from the rain, and we waited out the storm for a few hours. Once the rain subsided, we decided to continue our journey, but the next stretch of road was too treacherous for our bikes. While navigating the challenging terrain, we unfortunately fell from the bike, but we managed to get back up and reach #Listikot, where we visited the #Listitemple. Afterward, we headed to #bagam —a beautiful #Sherpa village known for its warm hospitality and rich culture. We stayed at AmaXomen Restaurant and Lodge, where we indulged in amazing Sherpa food and drinks, including #jhwaikatte and #tongba a local alcoholic beverage. That night in the serene #village ,surrounded by the stunning landscape, was truly unforgettable. The next morning, we set out for #bhairabkunda , filled with memories of our incredible journey.
