How do you go about replacing snare wires? That will be the focus part 1 of this 2 part video. In part 2 we'll see how different snare wires impact the sound of the drum. Here we are working with a DW maple snare (10+6), 5.5" x 14". This drum is a little over 20 years old and one of the snare wires broke (came apart where it joins to the plate).
