After a cold winter storm, the sky has finally cleared and a full moon rises overhead. In this moment I’m sharing “Salga la Luna” (when the moon rises). A 16th‑century Andalusian song arranged by Juan Vásquez 1500 - c1560. Written for four voices, it’s been gently reshaped here for two lutes, performed by Neal Z. Shipe and Laudon Schuett, and arranged by Michael Stover Recorded in January 2026, this intabulation brings on new friendship, and the return of an old piece of music back into the light.
