Unfortunately, OBS spontaneously reset my default audio device, and so didn't pick up anything from my microphone. Game sounds seem fine, but there's no commentary. Therefore I'll try to provide all the relevant commentary in the description. Short version: I do frenzied flame stuff, grab some items in the deeproot depths, try to grab that last item in the platforming section just above the three fingers, get the last deathroot from the hidden boss in the hidden path to the haligtree, finally kill the pair of black knights cavalry in consecrated snowfield, and then finish Millicent's / Gowry's questline. Long version: Firstly, I meet the three fingers and burn Hyetta. Considering Shabriri told me to meet the three fingers, I go try to consult with him, but instead find an armor set to my surprise. Returning to the Frenzied Flame, I take the small tunnel leading to a cave thing, not knowing what's beyond. I quickly find that it opens back up into deeproot depths, and recognize the area where I first entered via a different path many episodes ago. However, being higher up in a previously inaccessible section of the depths, I still wish to explore it to the best of my ability, expecting there will be items I can pick up. Indeed, there are a handful of things, those none of them are particularly useful at this point. I work my way through the branches, wishing the camera was better suited to easily observing my surroundings. I thought it was quite nice that I could kill the ants in just two hits. After being confidant I gathered all the items there, I go back to the subterranean shunning grounds to try again to grab the item stashed behind that tent. Instead of spending a wild amount of time searching everywhere for the illusory wall i expected, I look up a guide to tell me how to get the item. I hadn't realized the tent things were breakable, so this came as a surprise to me. I didn't see anything about any of my own items being able to break the tent, so I resigned myself to baiting an enemy into breaking it for me. Unfortunately I died to that enemy before picking up the item, and... due to a lot of frustration with the platforming section, I eventually looked up what the item is and decided to just give up, as I didn't have any pragmatic reason to pick it up. After that, I looked up the location of the final deathroot. I still kept it spoiler-free, only seeing where to drop down onto an invisible ledge, so I didn't know the actual path to take after dropping onto the ledge. I got confused for a bit, thinking I was supposed to go through a different door, and tried jumping onto a windowsill to get a better look around, but accidentally jumped too far and died. Eventually I realized i needed to drop and then turn around, and so I went and cleared the rest of the area. I was quite surprised by the amount of damage the vulgar militia did, as I thought it should be far less considering my health and armor gains from the last time I passed through this zone. Also, with how small and active the militia were, I was having a hard time hitting them with my katana, so I switched back to my wheel which has longer reach and better sweeping attacks. I finally reach the boss, and, not knowing what it was, am amused to find that I summoned a mimic tear to fight a mimic tear, and have three of me in this fight. Then I go up an elevator to confirm where it goes, and then went back and took the elevator again to more carefully look for any alternate paths or something I might have missed. I go feed the final deathroot to Gurranq. I still had some black night cavalry to kill, so I go do that. They're still very strong enemies, and it's a bit of a harrowing fight. I was still caught off guard by how much damage they can do to my horse. After finishing them off, I try to open the chest. However, it clearly doesn't open. Not knowing why, I stand on it and go for a ride, partly out of curiosity for where it goes, and partly so I have time to look up what to do. I learn what's inside the chest, confirm it's a new item for me, and then find that for this caravan, you can't open the chest until it stops. So I fight a troll and grab the item. Finally, I look up a guide on how to finish Millicent's questline. I've technically already done everything, so I just need to go from place to place, exhausting her dialogue. At the end, I don't know whether to join or oppose her, so I look up the items I get for each action, and decide based on that. Unfortunately, I also get the location wrong and go to the wrong miniboss location, but eventually I find where to do the summon thing, and I fight Millicent. Of course, Gowry's questline is intertwined, so I do some stuff with that as well. And that's the episode. It's a good game, I really enjoyed playing. I don't know what else to do here though, and will probably not record any episodes, instead taking NG+ or playing other characters at my own leisure.
