The zoology world is incredible! I had a perfect day full of fun at the Exotic Animal Training & Management program (EATM) at Moorpark College. I discovered how students are themselves the zookeepers and taking care of the animals there. As they say, "it's a living classroom where the animals are the teachers." What's unique about this school, is that not only it is staffed by its students but it's also opened as a regular zoo to the public. They have animal show times, training demonstrations, IRA - the Lion feeding demonstration and other large carnivore feeding demonstration, discovery stations and animal encounters throughout the day. It's a must visit teaching zoo!
