A song I wrote and wanted to share. The Lyrics are my own. Triumphal Return The tomb is empty, the grave deprived— He is not here. He is alive! Oh, what greatness! We will rejoice: He has saved us and given us a choice. No more a pauper, but a child of the King— Heaven and earth together will sing. A triumphal entry, just as before, To live with Him forevermore. All eyes will see what our hearts know; All tongues will rejoice and bow at His throne. They will say, “Here is our Savior! Here is our King! Here is the One for whom we’ve been waiting: Son of David, Son of Man, Yeshua, the Great I AM.” Now is the time—waiting no more— To gather His harvest from His threshing floor: Wheat for His barn and stubble to burn. The wages are paid; men gain their reward. The wicked gone—they are not found. The thief has been caught and properly bound. We are now safe under His wings, Sheltered by the King of Kings. Let us make merry; prepare a feast! He has overthrown the beast! Gather together all of His guests To dine and eat and drink and rest. Oh, what joy to see loved ones again! Oh, what peace with all of our friends! Oh, what sounds of great rejoicing! They will say, “Here is our Savior! Here is our King!
