Derek Prince shares with Brandt Gillespie his army experience in the deserts of Libya, Egypt and the Sudan, where he studied the Bible and was prepared by God for radical Christianity. In 1944, while posted to Palestine, he lived in a military hospital in Jerusalem on the Mount of Olives. After leaving the army, Derek conveys how he came to live in a children's home and subsequently became a father to eight children through his marriage to Lydia Christensen.
