這座位於台北信義區的鋼骨老屋，曾經是屋主的童年住所。 多年旅居海外後，家人選擇回到這個充滿記憶的地方，延續情感的軌跡，也在熟悉的街區裡展開新的篇章。 本案的設計從「找到信仰與記憶的歸屬」出發。 以雙平行斜軸線重新梳理動線，打開入口與公領域之間的視野； 以三個錯落的弧形天花柔化結構，讓空間像河流般自然地展開。 午後的光從三面窗景灑落，留下一個又一個關於生活的片段。 材質選擇以溫柔白為基調，搭配天然木皮與手工漆紋理； 光線在不同時刻，與牆面、家具、藝術品交織出層次豐富的表情。 藝術家與屋主父親的畫作在這裡重新被看見，悄悄成為日常的一部分。 這次翻修並非純粹的改造，而是一段與記憶同行的旅程。 讓老屋以新的姿態承接生活，讓回憶在光線與空間中慢慢延續。 This steel-structured residence in Taipei’s Xinyi District was once the homeowner’s childhood home. After years of living abroad, the family chose to return to this place filled with memories— to continue the emotional thread of their past, and to begin a new chapter in a familiar neighborhood. The design of this project begins with the idea of finding a place where faith and memory can belong. Two parallel diagonal axes reorganize the original circulation, opening up the visual connection between the entrance and the main living areas. Three staggered curved ceilings soften the structural beams, allowing the space to unfold naturally like a river flowing gently from one room to the next. Afternoon light pours in through windows on three sides, leaving behind fragments of daily life. The palette centers around a gentle, muted white, paired with natural wood veneer and hand-applied textured finishes. Throughout the day, light interacts with the walls, furniture, and artwork, creating layered and ever-shifting expressions. Both contemporary artworks and paintings inherited from the homeowner’s father find their place here, quietly becoming part of the home’s daily rhythm. This renovation is more than a transformation of an old residence— it is a journey that walks alongside memory.
