The Breckenridge Alpine Slide is an alpine slide located at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado. The Alpine Slide runs from Chair 5's mid-station, down to the Peak 8 Base Area. There are three alpine slides, A and B which duel, and C which goes out on its own a bit, in this video I rode Track C. This alpine slide is long but on the bumpier side. Unfortunately, the view was quite impacted due to wildfire smoke but it looks like a great view as well! Breckenridge is a ski area located in Breckenridge, Colorado. The ski area is one of many ski areas located in Summit County. These ski areas tend to be very popular due to their close proximity to the Denver Metro Area. Breckenridge is located about a 90-minute drive west of Denver. The ski area is one of the largest ski areas in Colorado and North America. Spanning over five peaks (numbered 6-10), Breckenridge is home to a large variety of skiing. Peak 6 is home to many intermediate above-treeline ski trails. Peaks 7 through 9 include a wide variety of trails, including plenty of intermediate and beginner groomers located on the lower half of those peaks. The upper half of Peak 8 also features some of the most extreme above-treeline skiing at Breck, including the highest lift-serviced skiing in North America, with the top of the Imperial SuperChair lift sitting at an elevation of 12,840 feet (3,914 meters) above sea level! Meanwhile, Peak 10 is home to a large collection of below-treeline advanced trails, a fair amount of which is actually frequently groomed! Breckenridge is known for its large variety of ski trails, grooming quality, and the fantastic ski town located at the base of the ski area. The ski area is owned by Vail Resorts and is, therefore, a destination of the company's Epic Pass product. In the summer, Breckenridge is home to scenic chairlift rides, mountain biking, a mountain coaster, alpine slides, and more.
