Coughton Court, Stately Home National Trust House & Gardens Walk Through to Gentle Music Hello! Welcome to our walk through of Coughton Court, (pronounced Coat-on.) This beautiful house is still home to the Throckmorton family, who live in one of the wings, they have been in residence for over 600 years and their are family portraits all over the house from the first to the current. So much history has taken place here, hidden catholic mass, gunpowder plot connections and many other treasures. We visited at the end of October when the gardens were being tended too, plants were starting to die back and the house was ready to close for the Winter to allow the Throckmortons to have their home back! If you love stately homes, this is a wonderful place to visit. We just walk through, add a few captions and music.
