Rod Hull and Emu's Pink Windmill Kids: It's a Good Day

Another old standard - everyone had a crack at this one, from Bing Crosby to Perry Como through Dean Martin and Judy Garland, but actually It's a Good Day was originally sung by Peggy Lee. (She also co-wrote it.) It always feels strange to hear the Pink Windmill Kids taking on something from as far back as the 1940s, but then I remember that this song was more recent then than, say, The Sex Pistols are now. Ouch. This is from the fifth series of Emu's World, by the way, first broadcast on 30th March 1984. Many thanks to Jayne for providing this recording.
