In addition to coming into conflict with Lieutenant Gilchrist of the Union Army, trouble is stoked by the activities of a renegade ex-soldier named Riley, who traffics with the Sioux for supplies and ammunition for a wagon train he leads that also includes Lucy Strong, daughter of the post's commander, Colonel Strong. This film was first broadcast on New York's pioneering television station, W2XBS, on Sunday, March 10, 1940. It is one of more than 200 titles in the slate of independent feature films made available for television by Advance Television Pictures, announced in Motion Picture Herald.
