Seriously high in nutrients and versatile, this chickpea milk can be used in many recipes as well as to be enjoyed on its own, wholesome food at its finest! Have fun! THE TRENDY, NUTRITIOUS AND EASY TO MAKE CHICKPEA MILK! INGREDIENTS: 1 cup of chickpeas soaked for at least 8 hours, then drained 10 cups of filtered water METHOD: Add the soaked and drained chickpeas to a blender along with the 10 cups of water, blend it very well. With the help of a cheesecloth, sift the blended chickpeas, add the filtered milk to a pot and stir it in medium low heat for about 20 minutes. The chickpea milk tends to get thicker, if this happens, just add some water to it. After the 20 minutes have passed, turn off the heat and let the milk reach room temperature. Put it onto a clean glass container and store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
