This Time on Tristan Rail Productions we take you to the Strasburg Railroad for some Autumn fun with Thomas and for the first time ever I filmed Thomas going all the way to Paradise. It was really cool to see this tank Engine make lots of noise and Stack talk. Along the way Norfolk and Western 475 was the train for the day and was pulling the regular Excursion trains and we see 475 at Esbanshade, Carpenters, and Bylers. As well as Thomas, at Carpenters, Bylers and Cherry Hill. The Fall colors are changing this is a nice time of the year to get some steam railroad action! Thomas- Built by H.K. Porter in 1915, as BEDT 15, and ran on the Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal, for Many years, and in 1998, BEDT 15 was brought to the Strasburg Railroad and Became Thomas the Tank Engine, and today pulls trains on the Strasburg for Day Out with Thomas events. N&W 475- A 4-8-0 Mastodon Type Steam Locomotive built in 1906, by the Baldwin Locomotive works, and Operated on the Norfolk and Western Railroad, hauling Freight and Coal Trains. In the 1950s 475 Retired and was put up for Display and then ran some Tourist trains in the later 1950s. In 1991, 475 was Purchased by the Strasburg Railroad and returned to Operation in 1993. Today 475 is one of the 4 Operating Steam Locomotives at Strasburg, and Captures the hearts of many. Please Subscribe to Action Set & Go Railfanning and other cool Stuff! He made this trip fun!
