Desi Jones as a GREAT Jamaican musician and beautiful soul whose transition came unexpectedly early on May 11, 2024. His well-lived life was a testament to the joy that his passion, personality and purpose brought to everyone who was blessed to be touched by his extraordinary talent and heartwarming smile. This legacy of this legendary drummer and leader of the Skool Band, will live on in his fellow musicians and fans he inspired, and the next generation of musicians with whom he so generously shared his versatile talent as a mentor. Many of his fans and friends in the music fraternity gathered at Johnny's Place on May 15th to pay tribute to this great man. This clip from the all star jam session, is a medley of hits from Chalice, one of Jamaica's best performing bands, co-founded by the great left handed drummer - Mr. Desi Jones.
