On 4/25/12 Russell Levan reminds the council of their decision in recent months to agendize both the county representatives to speak to toxic soil mitigation standards and oversight (insofar as these failed in Encinitas) and to bring in expertise via the agenda in Bioremediation as a process to mitigate the toxic soils other than by burying or trucking our toxic waste to some other poor community. Teresa Barth responds by moving that Levan's items be placed on the agenda and it passes with a majority. A rare and happy action by this council majority.
