This video features one of the boss fights the player can have against an Exarch of the Eternal Empire while riding the heroic version of each Star Fortress in SW: TOR: Knights of the Fallen Empire. At the end of each normal mode Star Fortress the player can face a droid boss and will be taunted afterwards by the local Zakuul Exarch. You can face him as a boss only by riding the heroic version of the Fortress. The video features the battle against Voss' Exarch, but it can be said that, save for some abilities in the final phase of the fight and the armor design, each Exarch doesn't differ at all from the others. Each battle against an Exarch is divided into two phases after the short ambush of strong and elite mooks you have to defeat in the control room. The first phase is about disrupting the Exarch sun-powered armor. To do so, you must interact with three terminals around the inner reactor's ring as you defend yourself from the radiations and more Zakuul skytroopers coming after you. While you can interact with the first terminal right away, the other two require a bit more work. After some time spent in each room, the Exarch will activate a photoconduction drone and send it after you. You must defeat it and loot a mission item, which can be used to absorb the small AoE attacks the Exarch is throwing at you during the fight and send it back to him. In the second room you have to use just one device, while in the third two. You can also loot some kind of shield from the sunguards you defeat to defend yourself from the radiations you have to pass through between the rooms. After activating the three terminals the Exarch will move himself to a higher platform you have to reach and then the final phase of the battle will begin. This phase is actually pretty simple and, save for one or two specific abilities the Exarch my have, the whole thing boils down to evade the boss AoEs and beat him up till he dies
