1940s Experience Comes To Havenstreet || Isle of Wight Steam Railway

Today we visit the Isle of Wight steam Railway situated in Haven Street as the 1940's experience comes to town. During the event there is two steam locomotives in action, 0-6-0 Hunslet Austerity Wagooner and Royal Engineer are on passenger duty taking you from one end of the line to small brook junction where the steam railway meets the island line, and then back to havenstreet station before heading to wooton at the other end of the line. The Event is hosted in the main show ground where there is live entertainment, various military vehicles, steam engines, various stools selling vintage and local products and a large beer tent also. The event is hosted between the 6th & 7th of July and is an event not to be missed so join us as we take you round the railway and show you everything the Isle of Wight steam railway 1940's experience has to offer.
