In this Unreal Engine indie dev stream, we finally tackle the boss fight that just wasn’t bossy enough. 🐾 Meet Swamp Cat — our placeholder boss in The Rend. He’s underwhelming, tiny, and barely puts up a fight. So in this stream, we debug his broken behavior, crank up his size, add a pounce attack, and wire up real AoE damage when he lands. We also wrestle with capsule collisions, blueprint behavior trees, and projectile arcs (because jumping toward the player should be obvious, right?).
