The 3 Gs= Grit/ GrowthMindset/ Grace Today, we practice the importance of play with Word Scramble or Charades! 3G Stories are every 5 days narrated for 3 weeks with 4 lessons following it that back up the lessons learned in the stories. The full 4th week has a challenge for students to practice what they've learned the three weeks on that topic. Each topic has 20 video stories(3) or lessons(17) that make it up with the last 5 lessons being challenges. Pause when you want to discuss the prompts. The stories are narrated but the teacher will need to read most of the WeMe Warmups and the Connection Question after the lesson or story. The Breathing Videos are narrated. 1. Mindfulness: Stories are 1, 6, 11 2. Social Graces: Stories 21, 26, 31, 3. Social Savvy Skills -Stories are 41, 46, 51, 4. Keys to Success - Stories are 61, 66, 71, 5. Practice with Purpose- Stories are 81, 86, 91, 6. WeMe Success - Stories are 101, 106, 111, 7. Grace Under Pressure - Stories are 121, 126, 131, 8. Best Me I Can Be - Stories are 141, 146, 151, 9. Lessons Learned/Reflection- Stories are 161, 166, 171 How 3G video lessons are organized: 1. WeMe Warm Up: Each 3G Strong lesson starts with a non-academic warm up question to build class culture. Depending on time, you may want to ask 3 students to answer aloud if they wish and write it on the board and use it to ask different students throughout the day, do a turn and talk with a partner, discussions in small groups. 2. Story/lesson - stories are chronological so its best to go in order 3. Connection Question- a discussion question about the story 4. Breathing Video- Breathing videos are a great way to begin your day and can/should be used throughout the day to calm students brains and prepare for learning. 3G Strong has 3 Levels: Kinder/1st 2nd/3rd 4th/5th 3G Strong is comprised of 9 topics with 3 weeks of stories/activities for each.
