My Visit to Landsberg am Lech in Germany

We decided to stop in Landsberg am Lech on the way to Neuschwanstein Castle as part of our trip along the Romantic Road. The town is about an hour away from Munich and only 30 minutes from Augsburg, which is another cute little small town in Germany that you should check out. The town of Landsberg is most well known for the Landsberg Concentration Camp from World War II. I didn't get a chance to visit the camp but I did explore the wonderfully preserved historic Old Town Square. The architecture is picturesque with lots of brightly colored buildings throughout the town center. Getting caught in the rain we stopped to get ice cream at one of the cafes in the old town. The rain didn't let up so we made our way back to the car and continued on with the trip. I was only in Landsberg for about an hour. I hope to return in the future and spend more time exploring the town. Looks like such a beautiful place! Thanks for watching!
