Frame Finishing in the Studio

I go into details the process of finishing handmade hardwood frames made in my framing studio. There were many year I toiled over what frames to dress up artwork & eventually I came up with this formula of frame finishing. These frames look professional & each is one of a kind art in itself & easy on the eyes. I use metal leaf applying a complimentary color glaze to help suppress the bright garish gold of using metal leaf.
