Why I'm now glad Meta banned me from Instagram. 100s of you asked me to post this clip. - Shaun King

Last week when I gave a full tour of the tomb Abu Ayyub Al Ansari, the dear companion of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, I gave a special message at the very end from inside of the beautiful Eyüp Sultan Mosque. Hundreds of you asked me to post that clip by itself. Here it is. In it, I declare that while what Meta did to me was horribly unjust, banning me from the platform for life, and deleting my entire account and community of over 6 million followers, it was ME that won that battle, not them. Because I am not at all sure I would have become a Muslim had I not first been banned from the platform. And I wouldn't trade being a Muslim for an Instagram account with 100 million followers. I wouldn't trade being a Muslim if they offered me full OWNERSHIP of Instagram. I might have lost 6 million followers but I gained 2 BILLION sisters and brothers! I won. Let me explain.
