Elysium Real Name: Kristian Thinning Andersen Profile: One of a few aliases of Danish electronica and trance veteran Kristian Thinning Andersen. Elysium however, was one of his most prolific, releasing a few albums. It is arguably also his most well-known moniker, being rooted in the tribal trance and goa trance 'scenes'. After a break and various ventures in other kinds of electronic styles, Kris is currently back on this project, releasing recordings which had not been heard before and even writing new material. Aliases: Chris Anderson Due to a very restraining contract with Nova Zembla, Kristian Thinning was not allowed to release music on any other label. To work around this he used the alias Chris Anderson for many of his releases. The following projects are where Kristian Thinning used the Chris Anderson alias: Kaaya, Kailash, Sheyba, Spiritual. Funktribe, Kris Andersen, Kristian Thinning, Rymdfunk, Spiritual, Stereo Dwarf, Vaporized, Wombatmusic, YouShine. Dance For The Celestial Beings was Elysium's debut album, originally released in 1995 on the late Belgian label Nova Zembla. The album was available in the first year or so after its release, then vanished from sight when stock has run out. Avatar and Pro File once again presented Dance For The Celestial Beings, ten years after. This special reissue was fully re-mastered and features an additional unreleased track. Not only that, it actually comes as a special 2 CD set with almost 150 min. of music, and includes a whole bonus CD with tracks never released before! Elysium is Kristian Thinning from Denmark. This album comes after his Regenerated album under Elysium Project on Avatar. In the past, Elysium has worked with Jean Borelli (Orion) under their mutual Sheyba venture. Dance For The Celestial Beings features some of Elysium's known tracks like Elysium, Aliens and Keep It Cool.
