Hi, this is Scott with Etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at and installing the Roadmaster Falcon 3HD on our 2025 Ford F-150. We get asked a lot what components you're gonna need to get set up to flat tow, and the five main components you're gonna need is you're gonna need a base plate, you're gonna need a tow bar, you're gonna need safety cables, you're gonna need some type of tow bar wiring. You're also gonna need some type of braking system. Another thing we often recommend would be a charge line kit that will charge your battery as you're going down the road. One of the things you'll notice with this setup we have today is how far down our tow bar sits. With this setup, we had to go with a really pretty extreme drop in order to get this to work. The reason being is when you get these set up, you wanna have your lowest point of your receiver measured out, and then your point of where your base plate is in the center, and you wanna stay within 3" of those numbers to be able to flat tow safely. Now, as you can see, we do have a lifted style of RV today. It is more of your off-road style, so that's why we have such a drop here in order to get it down to where we needed it to be. Our Falcon 3HD is gonna be a pretty heavy-duty style tow bar. This one's gonna be capable of a maximum of 10,000 pounds, so it'll pull anything you really need to pull with it. It's gonna be a non-binding style. What that's gonna do for you is, once you get to your campsite, it's gonna make it easy for you to unhook. A lot of your older style tow bars are gonna have to take even a hammer, sometimes, to get 'em to unhook, and it's really hard to get 'em undone. With the non-binding style, it makes it a whole lot easier to get those undone 'cause it's not binding up. Now, these are equipped with our Blue Ox-style ends on these today, and you can also get 'em with the Roadmaster style. Either one of those are gonna work out for you. It really depends on what style of base plate you have on your vehicle. One of the things I like about this one is it does have our cable organization system on here. And what that does for us is it allows us to run our cables inside of these channels on each side, and that's gonna help us keep our cables from dragging on the ground underneath of our tow bar. And it just keeps 'em a little more organized, especially when we stow it away. Now, another thing you could do as well, as you can see, we have this extreme angle that we have on our umbilical. One thing you could do with these as well is you can also run your umbilical cord through here, but you do have to take the end off, unwire it, and then run it through and then rewire it back together. But that's really not a big deal, but it's just something you can do if you wanted to if you wanted to have all of your accessories organized, all set up on your tow bar. When you're ready to unhook it, it's really easy to do. All you have to do is get your umbilical undone. And we'll undo our breakaway switch, pull out our cables. Get our pins pulled out. Now, we can run our arms in. One of the things I like about this is how it stows away. This goes up, and it'll click in place. Now, we can just bring our arms down and it's all stowed away. Another thing you can do while it's at the campsite, and say you're gonna be there a few days, you don't want the elements getting on your tow bar itself. There are covers available that you can have for these, and it just covers it up and keeps it nice and clean. If you have any questions or comments about this tow bar for your flat tow set up, you can always leave a question or comment down below, or you can get a hold of one of our experts here at etrailer. They'd be glad to help you out. And that was a look at the Roadmaster Falcon 3HD on our 2025 Ford F-150. I'm Scott with etrailer, and thanks for watching.
