"The Pirate Queen" was originally created in Cakewalk by BandLab as I was familiarizing myself with the available integrated VST instruments. I recorded my squeaking chair, leather belts, pots and pans to create the sailing ship sound. I even shared the demo on SoundCloud at some point. Years later we worked on a video game concept with the Bugg Audio team and there was a need for an interesting ranged character. The concept of a gunslinger pirate fit the bill perfectly and I gave the finally demo the attention it needed for the mood board. The Pirate Queen is a fictional character from another world. The powerful woman called Calista once roamed the seas with her family of pirates, but is now stranded on land and must find her way as the ambassador of the seas. She is the embodiment of survival instinct and adaptability with a backbone of steel. Her beauty and code of ethics induces envy in the best of us. The Pirate Queen is a legendary figure who inspires people to become larger than life. The material seen in the video were generated with various AI tools for the mood board mentioned earlier. This means that by now they are outdates as far as AI capabilities go. I decided not to go overboard with editing and not to create any new materials for the video. My focus was on releasing my music without making it into a head ache. The 3D animation with the pirate flag and the flag itself were made by me for the same cause a while ago.
