I am in Jinka, Ethiopia, hundreds of miles from the capital city, in the last remnants of modern civilization before reaching the bush where warring tribes live off the land. I spent time vlogging through this market, meeting locals and gathering supplies before venturing into the bush where I will spend several days documenting specific tribes that live in the south of the country. In Jinka Market I met Marmoush, a blacksmith who has been making tools, knives, and other metalwork for the people in Jinka. Here here offered to flatten a nail into a bracelet, and I was able to film his process. *** Please consider supporting this work at www.patreon.com/WhereJodyAt ---------------------------------------- Special thanks to Ben Dome (@ImSoCurious) for helping shoot this!
